Dr. Gupta’s attainment of these certifications establishes a higher benchmark for his practice, providing his patients with the safety and expertise of a highly qualified cardiologist.
For the ABIM’s certification in Interventional Cardiology, physicians must periodically complete requirements to maintain their certification, including performing a required number of interventional procedures annually, passing an examination and completing a self-assessment of knowledge and practice. ABIM works to enhance the quality of health care by subspecialist who demonstrate the knowledge, skills and attitudes essential for excellent patient care.
The recertification in Nuclear Cardiology, assess the level of knowledge demonstrated by the Nuclear Cardiology specialist in a valid manner; to encourage professional growth in, and enhance the quality of, the practice of Nuclear Cardiology; to recognize formally individuals who meet the requirements set by CBNC; and to serve the public by encouraging quality patient care in the practice of Nuclear Cardiology.
St. Anthony Shawnee Hospital Heart Center provides comprehensive, state-of-the-art interventional cardiovascular services and procedures.
